Finding Work
February 10th, 2011
Finding a job is like the food chain. There are predators and prey, and if you sit around waiting for a job to find you you’ll be eaten alive. Everyone is just trying to survive.
As it turns out, finding work actually takes work. You have to be proactive in finding employment and persistent. There are ways to find work that are easier than others.
Networking is important when it comes to trabalho. If you never heard the saying “it is all who you know,” it is time you hear it. People are interconnected. Those who are employed know when their company is hiring and can provide a personal recommendation, which beats other candidates resumes almost every time.
People also have a tendency to know someone else they can direct you as well. A friend of a friend is just as good as a classified ad.

The Internet is extremely useful when it comes to finding jobs. LinkedIn is a site designed to take networking to the next level. Creating a profile on the site LinkedIn is useful. LinkedIn is a professional social network site where people post resumes, past work experiences, and recommendations. Employers often find qualified candidates through LinkedIn. While employers can find you through LinkedIn you need to also be looking on job search engines to find employers.
There are sites specifically engineered to help people find employment, and for employers to find employees. Monser.com is a popular website that allows people to find jobs based on location, salary, and qualification. Monster.com also allows you to post your resume online for employers to scope.
Finding work can be discouraging because it takes time and patience. It is important to remember that patience is often rewarded. Once you find a potential employer, you have to start preparing for the interview process, which is equally hard.
Tips for Golf
January 13th, 2011
Tips for better golfing come in all shapes and sizes. Many websites provide daily tips for better swings, angles, equipment, and others. There are also several magazine publications that are specifically produced to give tips for a better game. Some tips are more important to remember: keep your head down, keep your arms straight, and follow through. However there are also others that are not as familiar that might need noting.
One important tip in perfecting the game of golf is practice and training. Professional golfers are always practicing and working on their techniques. Many will hire instructors to improve their swings, angles, drives, and others. A common hired trainer is the golf swing trainer, who will be able to break down a swing and provide important corrects. Many instructors are retired professional players.
Putting and chipping are two elements in which every player can use tips. When putting and chipping are improved, a handicap will also decrease. These are two areas that the professionals are continually working to improve. When chipping it is important to lead with a straight wrist. This is possible through a firm wrist and straight arm. A simple tip for keeping a firm wrist is placing a rubber band around the leading wrist. Once the club is nestled right underneath the rubber band, a golfer will have the proper feel and placement for better chipping.
Every golfer dreads the inevitability of eventually ending up in a bunker. When this happens there are a few tips to making the sandy stay easier. Club choice is important. A lofted club is best. A narrow stance will also give good weight distribution. Holding the club at its neck also gives specific force and precision. Using the square end of the club face is the key because it reduces club head bouncing angles. Striking the sand about two inches behind the ball will also accelerate a hit.
Colon Cleanse Recipe
December 30th, 2010
Colon cleansing products are coming out of the woodwork these days. It seems like as soon as there is a demand, every company and their mom want to jump on the band wagon. Over the past few years colon cleaners have experienced a resurgence in popularity due to some recently proven benefits they can provide. These benefits include mood enhancement, strengthened immunity, boosted energy, and weight lose. But these benefits only come from cleansing products that use the right ingredients. Unfortunately, so many products out there just don’t have the right components to produce these effects. To help make sure you aren’t getting swindled, we wanted to highlight a few ingredients that really make for a great colon cleansing recipe.
The first ingredient we should mention is psyllium husk. This plant is vital for any effective colon cleansing product. Psyllium is known for its ability to absorb excess water in the intestine, creating a clear gel several time the size of the psyllium husk. This mucilaginous gel is pushed through the small intestine and into the colon, flushing out any buildups and compacted matter that gets in its way.
You should also look for milkthistle. Though this ingredient doesn’t help to directly flush out matter in the colon, it does fight off toxins in the body. Perhaps most notably, milkthistle purges the liver of poisons and protects it from future damage. Having a healthy liver helps filter the rest of your blood to make sure your entire body is being kept safe from the toxins that might be building up inside you.
Oat fiber is almost a must in the best colon cleanser concoctions. This ingredient is high in fiber therefore is great for enhancing digestion. It also helps pull along buildup and plaque along the intestinal walls as it is funneled through digestive tract. Not only can it help root out waste deposits, oat fibers have been tied to lowering cholesterol and lowering the risk of heart disease. They even help suppress appetite by extended the sensation of feeling full.
You should also look for ingredients like buchu leaves, uva ursi, cascara sagrada, and slippery elm, to name just a few more. These diuretics and antibacterials will help clear out your digestive system of encrusted waste in hardly any time at all.

Stress & Toxins
September 25th, 2009
I have been having some pretty constant problems, and have been unable to find a concrete answer to. The problem appears to be chronic diarrhea. At first, I thought I was experiencing diarrhea because of something I was eating. I went to the doctor and they did a few tests and nothing came up out of the ordinary so they put me on a special diet to see if it was maybe food-related. Well, I keep getting it on and off now and it seems too really only happen before something important or something that I am very stressed out about.
I’m wondering if there could be a connection between my stress and the diarrhea or for that matter toxins. It’s horrible, and I’ve been missing out on a lot of things because of this and I keep having to miss school on and off too. I have been trying to find ways to overcome the stress that I have been feeling in order to better control or limit the diarrhea. I find that the more worked up and overloaded I become, the worse the problem with diarrhea becomes.
In a previous post I mentioned that diarrhea can be caused by many different factors, I suppose I missed one important factor… that is STRESS.
Fiber & Cleansing
September 24th, 2009
Adding fiber to your diet will help in the digestion process and keep the body from becoming backed up. Fiber can also reduce your risk of disease and illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Fiber is found in a variety of foods, so you don’t have to just eat one thing in order to get all the fiber you need.
Most Americans do not have enough fiber in their diet, which is part of why toxins build up. But it’s not that hard to get your numbers up to where they need to be. Find out how much fiber you need to be eating, and then start adding high fiber foods to your meals and snacks.
Not all fiber is created equal, especially for cleansing. So it is important to know what you are eating and understand the effect it will have on the body. Insoluble fiber promotes movement in the bowels and is helpful for people who struggle with constipation. It can be found in foods such as whole grains, nuts and many vegetables. Soluble fiber dissolves in water to create a gel like substance in the body. This can be beneficial to lowering cholesterol and glucose levels.
There are many benefits of eating a high fiber diet, and since it can be found in such a variety of foods we all should be doing better at getting more fiber in our diets.
Diarrhea & Toxins
September 22nd, 2009
We have all experienced diarrhea at one time or another in our lives. Most of the times, it is harmless and lasts about two days to two weeks. Diarrhea is usually a symptom of another ailment in the stomach or bowels. Symptoms of diarrhea include loose watery stools, stomach cramping, nausea, fever and occasionally blood in the stool. Diarrhea can range from moderate to severe, and if it occurs regularly, you should consult a doctor about the symptoms as there could be a more serious issue.
Some of the causes of diarrhea include: bacterial or viral infection, the body’s negative response to certain substances such as milk intolerance, laxatives and other chemicals, medicines such as antibiotics and other drugs, and excessive consumption of alcohol.
Most patients are suggested to stay away from foods that are known to them to cause diarrhea and consult your doctor before taking any medications if the symptoms persist. If you are experiencing any degree of diarrhea be sure to drink plenty of fluids containing electrolytes to avoid dehydration. While diarrhea will usually stop on its own, it is important to pay attention to your body. If something seems wrong or out of the ordinary it is important to seek medical advice to avoid further complications.
Colon Health
September 21st, 2009
A few years back my aunt was diagnosed with colon cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock to my family. It was discovered after my aunt underwent gastric bypass surgery. The surgery was successful, but there were some lesions discovered that made the doctor nervous. He quickly scheduled a colonoscopy to further investigate the problem. My aunt began losing weight quickly, both due to the gastric bypass as well as the cancer that quickly began spreading.
My aunt is grateful for the doctor’s quick response, as well as for her decision to have the surgery done. If it weren’t for that decision, the cancer would have gone undetected for a much longer time, which could have had deadly consequences.
After several rounds of chemotherapy, months of sickness, and drastic weight loss, my aunt is now cancer free and continues to improve with each passing day. While I understand that gastric bypass surgery is not the answer for every person wanting to lose weight, I am truly grateful for my aunt’s decision to have the surgery done. The discovery of her cancer early made it possible for my aunt to make a full recovery. Not all bypass surgeries will have these kinds of findings, and I understand that the point of the surgery is to help with weight loss, not to find cancer. But I am so thankful that it was caught early and things turned out okay in the end.
With a family history of colon cancer, I understand that I am now at a higher risk for this cancer myself. Taking good care of my colon may sound silly, but it has now become a pretty high priority for me.
what is colonics?
September 17th, 2009
I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about her weight loss. She mentioned that she has been doing weekly treatments of colonics. I didn’t want to seem ignorant, so I didn’t ask what that was, but I really had no idea of what she was talking about. So after our conversation, I went home and googled ‘colonics’ for more information.
Here’s what I found: Colonics is a process of cleaning out the colon by using and enema to shoot water into the body through the rectum and into the intestinal tract to remove fecal waste and toxins. It is also sometimes called colonic irrigation or colon hydrotherapy. The water that goes into the body is sometimes combined with herbs or with other liquids. Colonics should only be performed by someone certified in the practice to avoid complications.
There is no solid evidence that colonics has any health benefits. Some claim to feel better after the treatments, but there are complications that may occur in some individuals such as dehydration or an electrolyte imbalance, so you should be keenly aware of your bodies reaction. My friend attributes the colonics to her weight loss, but I don’t know if I would go that far to say that cleaning your colon will result in weight loss.
Dehydration & Colon Cleansing
September 12th, 2009
It is essential when doing a colon cleanse that you drink enough water to keep your body hydrated. During the cleanse process, the body is ridding itself of toxins found in the gastrointestinal tract and can increase your risk for dehydration. An additional risk to be careful of when considering a colon cleanse, is that certain laxatives used in colon cleansing, like those with sodium phosphate, can cause a rise in your electrolytes, which can be dangerous if you have kidney disease or heart disease.
If you are considering doing a colon cleanse yourself, make sure you talk to your health care provider first; especially if you are on any medications or have any medical problems. Also, beware of any colon cleanse product that claims to cure specific diseases or conditions. Colon cleansing is meant to rid the body of toxins and can oftentimes make you feel more energetic, but doing a colon cleanse alone is not meant to cure diseases.
Also, if you decide to go ahead with the colon cleanse process; be sure to drink plenty of water to avoid the risk of dehydration. And listen to your body. If it doesn’t feel right, it might not be for you. Only you and your doctor can decide what is best for you.
